Compress tools

Most images on the web are several times larger than they need to be. Compressing a photo to 75–85% quality typically cuts the file in half with no difference you can see at normal viewing size. PNG is lossless, so re-encoding it rarely helps much — switching that same image to WEBP or JPG is what produces a real drop. Every compressor here shows the measured before and after byte count, so you can judge the trade-off instead of trusting a promise.
